When the file system shows up as RAW (like you mentioned that chkdsk reported it originally), that's normally caused by a corrupted partition table. What does Disk Management tell you about the drive? Look and see if it's showing an NTFS partition now (assuming it's NTFS versus FAT32). "Have you tried turning it off and on again?"

I cannot add a new DC to the domain because it has no active servers to verify with. I have a child domain that has no active DCs, the servers that the DCs were on have been deleted. Volume Shadow Copy and Microsoft Shadow Copy Services are running and set to automatic startup.After a second this file disappears, then the backup says it completes successfully. Hobocopy, which claims to support this, gives no error, the file shows up in the destination for a second as.Robocopy, which failed to sync locked files, after 3 attempts it seems to have copied the file but the file date is 1980 and it is roughly 300mb smaller than the actual file :\.FBackup, which claims to support this, and the backup hangs on the locked file then fails.Allway sync, which claims it supports this but fails on any locked/open files.I am testing this with my own outlook.pst file, while outlook is open.
